Service & support

We provide service and sales support to most of West Dorset, and in addition to providing service support to our own customers, we also carry out both “in” and “out of warranty” repair work for other national service contractors.


We are service agents for our region for the following brands – Amica/CDA, Beko/Blomberg, Bosch, Fisher & Paykel, Miele, Montpellier, Neff and Siemens and as such we are able to carry out repairs during the relevant manufacturer’s warranty period.

Beyond the manufacturer warranty period we have the infrastructure for the supply of parts and technical information to enable us to maintain and repair appliances from most major brands in the UK.

 Exception – We are NOT Gas Safe registered and are therefore unable to repair or service gas appliances. We can however make local recommendations within our normal trading area for installations. Locating engineers willing to repair gas appliances can be notoriously difficult, in terms of expertise and availability of spares. With this in mind, we recommend contacting the manufacturer of the appliance to obtain information concerning any local, affiliated engineers for any repair queries.


Our three engineers are all manufacturer trained and attend regular refresher courses to ensure that they are kept up to date with the latest products, technologies and diagnostic equipment. Our engineers can attend your property and repair your appliance in situ. We also offer an on-site workshop facility; where large domestic appliances can be left for our engineers to repair in house, at a discounted price versus the standard call-out. Our small appliance engineer has a weekly workshop for repairs / servicing particularly of vacuum cleaners.  We try to keep disruption to a minimum and where possible will provide a loan cleaner whilst your own is with us awaiting repair. Typically, our vacuum repair workshop is run weekly on a Thursday, though this usual day can be subject to change with staffing commitments. Our colleagues in the showroom will advise when booking in products for repair or service, if there is to be any likely delays for this reason.
