Standard Rate (0-45 Mins)                             £90.00

Per ¼ Hour Rate (thereafter)                         £30.00

* an additional fee of £20 is levied for repair visits to addresses in any BH post codes, DT5, DT9, 10 or 11 addresses.


Workshop Charges

Large Appliances (inc Microwaves)                £70.00

Vacuums & Small Appliances                         £50.00

* for all workshop repairs, 50% of the associated repair charge is levied at the point of booking in as a non-refundable inspection fee. The remaining 50% balance is then payable, along with any spare parts costs when the item repair has been completed. In all cases, no spares will be supplied without prior agreement being obtained form you.


  

Field calls are charged at the standard rate advertised above, with the additional labour charge levied where necessary for jobs that require it. All call-out charges are payable at the point at which the repair is arranged. If a scheduled visit is subsequently cancelled prior to it taking place then we will issue a refund of the balance paid. Our engineer will be sure to advise you of any additional labour and spare part charges in their quotation to you, payment for those parts will be payable when the quotation is accepted to instigate any ordering required. Workshop repairs (and quotations) are carried out in the same way, no work or repairs will be carried out by DAC without prior authorisation. Although we do often ask if there is a repair cost that can be “pre-agreed”, allowing us to proceed with minor repairs up to a certain value without further authorisation. With this process, any estimates above the pre-agreed amount, would still be provided to a customer before commencement of any repairs. You’re not obliged to have a pre-agreed amount for workshop repairs, but it can minimise any disruption if, for example, our engineer cannot contact you with the estimate on the day they are in the workshop carrying out the inspection/estimate.

 

 

Notice:

Where DAC are called out to provide estimates/quotations for repair, we reserve the right to levy a charge to cover our costs, in the event that the estimate/quotation is not accepted by the customer.

Call-outs to trade addresses will not be instigated, until an official purchase order is received by DAC.

We are more than happy to accept service requests from landlords for tenanted properties. Again, we would require pre-approval from the landlord until any service work is arranged – work carried out without prior landlord consent would of course require payment by the tenant.
